Schools Project
Irish Sporting Heritage has designed schools projects for secondary level.
Focusing on a sporting site or ground is a very effective way to engage students in academic subjects and to involve them in the history and heritage of their local community. We have designed tasks which are aimed at self-directed learning and which fit the requirements of the curriculum in the Republic of Ireland. Should a student or group of students (in the case of Transition Year) decide to undertake a historical or geographical study of a sporting site the Irish Sporting Heritage Project will provide advice and support as they design and execute their study.
